What health care is covered?

Vet's Fees

Up to £5,000* for each illness and each accident, including essential hospitalisation and referral. Alternative medicine and prescription diets are also covered, with the approval of the insurer. There is no limit to the number of incidents, which can be treated each year. There is an excess of just £50 for each claim. Cover for veterinary treatment commences 10 days after the Policy starts.

Cover for life

Pet iD Health Care Cover insurance is on-going, up to the cover limit, for the entirety of the treatment regardless of how long it takes (subject to the cover remaining in force & premiums paid up to date). Many other pet insurers limit this to just the first 12 months of treatment.
